Bimetallic tools have a steel face and are backed up with high heat transfer materials like copper or BeCu. Uses would include shot blocks for aluminum die casting, Die inserts for Aluminum Die Casting or cavities for plastic injection. Studies have shown that cycle times can reduced by 25%.
Inconel tools or parts at significant cost reductions
