An aluminum die casting company recently ran a bimetallic shot block. Thermal camera images of before and after showed a 250F lower temperature with the RSP bimteallic shot block. Cycle times were decrease by 5% on the first try. Additional shot blocks have been ordered by this company.

Bimetallic Shot Blocks Proven Succesful

At the end of December 2009 RSP sprayed an Inconel sample with no layer lines and a very small grain structure. Further tests are in progress.
